11,658 MP3 Files For Download

October 29, 2007

My lawyer has advised me to inform you, the internet denizen that I have not downloaded nor am in possession of any of these audio files and that my hard drive is clear of any copyrighted materials and that while I comply with copyright laws as they are present in an increasingly digital world I retain the right to refuse any cooperation with any company or organization that wishes to investigate any claims of complying with copyright law and if I so much as see some music industry bastard near my home I’m going out with both guns blazing.

I gathered these links in a few hours , and as far as I am aware, they still work, obviously, as time progresses this will most likely cease to be true. I prefer finding mp3’s via Google and less so by bittorrent, it’s more about the thrill of the hunt for me.

If you’d like to get all of these files without having to manually save every single one, grab a copy of wget for windows and use the command “wget –input-file=mp3list.txt” from the command line. The text file to use is mp3list.txt

Of course, if you can’t be arsed to read anything, get the entire list of 11,658 mp3 files here

I tried putting up the entire list, but my browser kept crashing when I tried to view the page, so for a small sample of the list…

Open MP3 Directory AND A Weatherman’s “Forecast”

September 24, 2007

I’m feeling a little worn out from the weekend, although self-administering a few enemas will do that (or so I hear), it’s just a good thing I had all of those spare syringes laying around. So today, I give you an open directory covering two Muse albums. Find it available here.

W00t, free mp3 directory.

Also, weatherman penis. Enjoy.

Mighty impressive

MP3s in the office: Part 3

August 8, 2007

Alright, in Mp3s in the office: Part 1 and MP3s in the office: Part 2  I showed you how to get those delightfully delicious directories, those storehouses of audio goodness that fill me with a lust that can only be quenched by leeching bandwidth and filling my coffers with mp3-coins. Each directory I find and loot is a badge of honor…like an ear cut from a vanquished foe in battle that I proudly wear around my neck…

Sorry, I started rambling there for a minute. Alright, last time I showed you where to find the mp3s, but now, what should you do with them? Should you right-click and Save As for hundreds, possibly thousands of files? Hell no! You’re better than a damned animal, aren’t you?

If your answer is yes…keep reading. (more…)

Every Version Of Stormy Weather…Ever

July 12, 2007

I don’t really like posting links to open directories chock full of mp3s, but this was just such a bizarre find. This person has dozens and dozens of different versions of the song Stormy Weather. I didn’t see a version as done by the Five Sharps, so I guess that will have to stay in my personal collection.

Check it out at…

MP3s in the office: Part 2

June 8, 2007

In my last post regarding Mp3s in the office (MP3s in the office: Part 1), I showed you a little bit about google and it’s wondrous filters like “intitle” and “filetype”. This time around we’re going to simplify things a little bit.

Okay, your search engine, what does it do? It finds pages based on two things. The search terms that you enter, and the content of the page. What does this mean to us? Well, directories usually have a uniform structure, and it’s by searching for words commonly found in a directory that google (or yahoo, etc) will find a directory for us to browse.

MP3s in the office: Part 1

May 23, 2007

So I’m sitting here in the office, doing the usual, browsing for mp3 files while I should be working. It strikes me as odd, how other people that walk by sometimes ask stupid questions like “what are you doing?” and “can you find an mp3 for me?”. First off, stop looking at my god damned screen and second, why not ask me something good? Why not ask me how I can show you how to find your mp3?
